Terms of Service
Last updated · 22 May 2026
1. The service
LedgerVault is a document-intelligence platform for Indian Chartered Accountant firms, operated by AI Foundry Ventures LLP. By signing in, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility + accounts
You must be authorised by a CA firm (or be an individual practitioner) to upload, view, or process documents on its behalf. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods (Telegram, Google, email magic links) confidential.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. You grant LedgerVault a limited license to process, classify, store, and route that data only for the purpose of providing the service to you and your firm. We will not use your data to train shared models, share with advertisers, or for any purpose outside what's described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LedgerVault to:
- Upload content you don't have authority to process under your client agreements.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access another firm's data.
- Use the platform for activities that violate Indian law, ICAI rules, or the Companies Act 2013 §144 auditor-independence requirements.
- Interfere with the platform's operation (rate-limit evasion, DOS, etc.).
5. Alpha status
LedgerVault is currently in UAT/alpha. The service is provided as-is without warranties of fitness for any specific filing or compliance purpose. You remain responsible for the accuracy of statutory filings; LedgerVault is a tool that supports your workflow, not a substitute for professional judgment.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI Foundry Ventures LLP's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months, or ₹10,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time by emailing privacy@cortexdata.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms with reasonable notice (immediately for security or legal reasons). Per ICAI record-keeping guidance, certain audit-trail data may be retained for 8 years after termination.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify registered users by email for material changes.
